SEAMEO CECCEP consolidated collaboration with Universitas Islam International Indonesia (IIU), and the signing ceremony was done synchronously at Depok, 7 Maret 2023. This cooperation agreement will be realized through holding internships and other collaborative programs including publications and international conferences.
Bandung, 15 February 2023 – The SEAMEO Regional Center for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting (CECCEP) had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indonesian University of Education (UPI) at the Isola Building, Bumi Siliwangi, UPI Campus. Prof. Vina Adriany, Director of SEAMEO CECCEP, representing SEAMEO CECCEP signed the document along with Prof. Dr. M. Solehuddin, M.Pd., MA, Rector of UPI.
Bandung 3 February 2023- SEAMEO CECCEP has again collaborated with Sangga Buana University. This collaboration is an initiative to explore the cooperation that has been done before. The purpose of signing this MoU is initiation to develop the ECCE program. In his remarks, Dr. Didin Saepudin, SE., M.Si, rector of Sangga Buana University, said that this collaboration was the first step in establishing further cooperation. He also highlighted the importance of early childhood education and parenting. He noted that early childhood education requires a lot of support, including educational facilities.
Bandung 2 February 2023- SEAMEO Regional Center for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting (CECCEP) is collaborating with the Indonesian Creative Faculty at Telkom University in a program to strengthen information about stunting. In 2022 SEAMEO CECCEP was tagged by the National Development Planning Agency (BAPPENAS) for reducing stunting. So in 2023, SEAMEO CECCEP is working hard to minimize stunting cases through a training program with the theme "Parenting program for stunting prevention (PPSP)." SEAMEO CECCEP had worked this PPSP out hand-in-hand with Telkom University in 2022.
6 January 2023- SEAMEO CECCEP received a visit from the Indonesian International Islamic University (IIIU). Prof. Nina Nurmila, Ph.D., the dean of the Faculty of Education, with eight lecturers and staff, visited the SEAMEO CECCEP Office to discuss and identify the potential for collaboration. It is hoped that later a collaboration program can be agreed upon to strengthen and ensure the achievement of the cooperation goals between SEAMEO CECCEP and the Indonesian International Islamic University.
On December 21, 2022 - Advocacy and Partnership division of SEAMEO CECCEP, conducted a collaboration evaluation with partners with a blended mode at SEAMEO CECCEP office. This FGD aims to evaluate the cooperation carried out in 2022 with partners. Hopefully, the collaboration established in the future can improve the quality of program cooperation at the next level. This cooperation stops at the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and the realization of potential programs.
On December 19, 2022 - Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Centre of Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting (SEAMEO CECCEP) conducted Focus Group Disscusion (FGD) by blended mode on policy brief finalization. This FGD conducted at SEAMEO CECCEP' s office. The Resource person attended this FGD were consisting from academics and practitioners. The number of participants consist of 15 SEAMEO CECCEP partners who attended offline and online mode.
On December 14, 2022- SEAMEO CECCEP with the Tanoto foundation, signed a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) virtually. This collaboration is follow-up programmes from the previous year. SEAMEO CECCEP Director Prof. Vina Adriany, and the Head of Early Childhood Education Department of Tanoto Foundation, Mr. Eddy Henry, propose continuing collaboration with Prof Vina.
On 8 December 2022- Southeast Asian Ministers of Organization Regional Centre for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting (SEAMEO CECCEP), as a development centre engaged in the field of early childhood education and parenting, commits to realizing early childhood education and parenting that supports for the competency improvements in ASEAN community. Based on the vision and mission of SEAMEO CECCEP has a role in improving the quality of Early Childhood Education and Parenting in Indonesia.
On 6 December 2022, Prof. Vina Adriany. Ph.D, Director of SEAMEO CECCEP received Ms. Qin Ziyang, representative from Go Study Global Education China at SEAMEO CECCEP’s office. The director was accompanied by Mr. Ith Vuthy, Deputy Director for Programs and Head of Division SEAMEO CECCEP. Prof.Vina Adriany welcomed the initiative collaboration by Go Study Global Education China and SEAMEO CECCEP.
The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting (SEAMEO CECCEP) and Bina Bangsa University (UNIBA) Serang, Banten Indonesia, have collaborated on stunting prevention programs. This cooperation is evidenced by the signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU). Three priorities for program cooperation are research and development, capacity building, and other programs such as exchanging resource persons through the guest lecture program (24/11).
SEAMEO Regional Center for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting (CECCEP) carried out network strengthening and cooperation with the Institute for Research and Community Service or Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (LPPM) Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) at the LPPM room (2/11/2022). Present at the signing of this cooperation was the head of LPPM, Prof. Dr Dadang Sunendar, M.Hum., and the leaders of study centres and officials within LPPM. Also present was Prof. Vina Adriany (Director of SEAMEO CECCEP), accompanied by the Head of the Advocacy and Partnership Division and the Head of the Knowledge Management Division.
To strengthen collaboration in early childhood education and parenting, SEAMEO CECCEP and the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Tasikmalaya campus, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the SEAMEO CECCEP Conference Room (1/11/2022).
On September 26, 2022, Head of Advocacy & Partnership Division SEAMEO CECCEP hosted a meeting with the Go Study Global Education China Team and Board of Directors SEAMEO CECCEP virtually through a zoom meeting. This meeting discussed the collaboration plan between two parties, especially in joint research, training, and the implementation of international conference cooperation.
Director of SEAMEO CECCEP, Prof. Vina Adriany, Ph.D with the Board of Directors (BoD) and Heads of Division received a visit from the Bogor City Department of Education in the SEAMEO CECCEP’s Auditorium room (22/8) lead by the Head of Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) of Bogor City Dra. Rika Riana R.D, M.Si. Dra. Rika said that the purpose of this visit was to follow up on the cooperation that had been established in the previous year. “For information that last year we carried out a joint program with SEAMEO CECCEP in providing best practices for Integrative Holistic Early Childhood Development (HI-ECD).” Rika said.
