SEAMEO CECCEP officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Ardhya Garini Foundation.

Jakarta, March 26, 2025 – The SEAMEO Regional Centre for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting (CECCEP) and the Ardhya Garini Foundation have officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement to improve the quality of early childhood education (ECE) in Indonesia. The signing ceremony took place at the Ardhya Garini Foundation Headquarters in Jakarta.

SEAMEO CECCEP Director, Prof. Vina Adriany, M.Ed., Ph.D., in her remarks, expressed her hope that this collaboration would proceed smoothly, be sustainable, and have a significant positive impact on the development of ECE in Indonesia. “We believe that through the synergy between SEAMEO CECCEP and the Ardhya Garini Foundation, we can create sustainable positive change in early childhood education,” said Prof. Vina.

This partnership aims to enhance the capacity of early childhood educators and caregivers through training programs, curriculum development, and joint research. Additionally, the collaboration will focus on improving access to and the quality of ECE services, particularly in underserved areas.

In addition to SEAMEO CECCEP, the Ardhya Garini Foundation is also collaborating with the SEAMEO Regional Open Learning Centre (SEAMOLEC) and the SEAMEO Centre for Quality Improvement of Teachers and Education Personnel (QITEP) in Science. The partnership with SEAMEO SEAMOLEC will focus on developing distance learning, while the collaboration with SEAMEO QITEP in Science will focus on improving the quality of science education.

The signing of this cooperation agreement marks an important step in the effort to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, particularly in the areas of early childhood education, distance learning, and science education. It is hoped that this collaboration will bring substantial benefits to the development of Indonesia’s human resources in the future.
