The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) is a regional intergovernmental organization established in 1965 among governments of Southeast Asian countries to promote regional cooperation in education, science and culture in the region.
On September 26, 2022, Head of Advocacy & Partnership Division SEAMEO CECCEP hosted a meeting with the Go Study Global Education China Team and Board of Directors SEAMEO CECCEP virtually through a zoom meeting. This meeting discussed the collaboration plan between two parties, especially in joint research, training, and the implementation of international conference cooperation.
On Friday, 23 September, 2022, Universitas Bina Bangsa, Banten, visited the SEAMEO CECCEP office in Lembang, Bandung, Jawa Barat in an effort to seal the collaboration between two parties. Imam, M.Pd as the Head of the Early Childhood Education Teacher Education (PG-PAUD) program as delegation leader said that the purpose of this visit was to discuss the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (independent learning independent campus) programs, the Tri Dharma program, and the Guest lecture program with SEAMEO CECCEP

Then family and parenting play an important role in children's growth and development and the quality of parenting and child care has an significant impact on the children’s development. On the contrary, parenting is a big challenge in Indonesia. That is what Mr. Widodo Suhartoyo (Tanoto Foundation) said during his visit at SEAMEO CECCEP(16/9).
P2K2S is a parenting practice designed to increase parents' awareness of their role as themselves and as parents. In this training, parents are not exclusively taught on how to react properly to a parenting situation or even systematic strategy in parenting, but this training emphasizes skills in daily life and parenting situations which can improve the quality of parenting and daily interaction between parents and children.

the workshop on early childhood education on Friday, 26 August 2022. This workshop took place at the SEAMEO CECCEP office in Lembang, Indonesia. The resource person of this workshop was Prof Marek Tesar, PhD. Prof Tesar is the Associate Dean International at the Faculty of Education and Social Work, University of Auckland. He is one of the Advisory Board Members of SEAMEO CECCEP as well. The participants of this workshop were the SEAMEO CECCEP staff with various backgrounds of education, not exclusively in the early childhood education area. This diversity can be an advantage for the studies in SEAMEO CECCEP.
Caring for children, Sharing for Partners” is one of SEAMEO CECCEP’s efforts in contributing to early childhood education. Through the 2nd Annual Early Childhood Education and Parenting Regional Forum (25/8) which was held at GH Universal Hotel, Bandung. This activity was attended by 100 participants, and 5 researchers.
Director of SEAMEO CECCEP, Prof. Vina Adriany, Ph.D with the Board of Directors (BoD) and Heads of Division received a visit from the Bogor City Department of Education in the SEAMEO CECCEP’s Auditorium room (22/8) lead by the Head of Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) of Bogor City Dra. Rika Riana R.D, M.Si. Dra. Rika said that the purpose of this visit was to follow up on the cooperation that had been established in the previous year. “For information that last year we carried out a joint program with SEAMEO CECCEP in providing best practices for Integrative Holistic Early Childhood Development (HI-ECD).” Rika said.
SEAMEO CECCEP hosted the Inter-Centre Collaboration Meeting (ICCM) which was attended by 7 SEAMEO Centres in Indonesia (SCI) from 25 to 26 July 2021. ICCM is a regular meeting held as a forum for coordination and harmonization of programs and budgets between the 7 SEAMEO Centre in Indonesia. In this meeting, SCI also invited representatives from the Acting Secretary of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Prof. Tjitjik Sri Tjahjandarie, Dana Bhaswara (Directorate General of Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and Secondary Education), and Prof. Dr. Nunuk Suryani, M.Pd. from the Directorate General of Teacher and Education Personnel.
