To enhance understanding and skills in qualitative research, SEAMEO CECCEP collaborated with Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) to organize a Qualitative Research Workshop. This qualitative research workshop became an interactive forum where participants delved into the concepts and methods of qualitative research. The workshop was designed to broaden participants' understanding of a more in-depth research approach, focusing on interpretation and providing a clearer picture of the complexity of the phenomena under investigation.

Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization - Center for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting (SEAMEO CECCEP) undertook comprehensive monitoring and evaluation of the Parenting Program for Stunting Prevention (PPSP) in the Baturaja District, Ogan Komering Ulu, South Sumatra, Indonesia. The purpose of this monitoring and evaluation was to actively address early childhood stunting issues, promote better parenting practices, and enhance child nutrition.

Literacy and Numeracy Workshop for Early Childhood Teachers

Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Center for Early Childhood Care and Education and parenting (SEAMEO CECCEP), Deakin University and Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII), conducted an innovative training workshop for Early Childhood Care Education (ECCD) teachers. The workshop aimed to develop the capacity of early childhood educators in designing play-based activities to support children's spatial and thinking. This workshop was attended by 20 early childhood education teachers. The workshop started on September 18, 2023 at Faculty Lecture Room A UIII, Depok City, Indonesia.

Training for early childhood education teachers: Parenting Program for Stunting Prevention (PPSP) in Serang City, Banten Province Indonesia

SEAMEO CECCEP successfully conducted training for early childhood teachers in Serang City, Banten Province, Indonesia. This training was held from 22 November to 8 December in a blended mode. A total of 30 ECCE teachers participated in the "Parenting Program for Stunting Prevention (PPSP)." This PPSP training aims to support government programs to accelerate the reduction in the prevalence of stunting. The government is targeting that by 2024 the prevalence rate will drop to 14 percent.
