SEAMEO CECCEP successfully organized a Technical Guidance (BIMTEK) program for Early Childhood Education (PAUD) teachers in Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir (PALI) Regency, South Sumatra. The initiative aimed to enhance teacher competencies and improve the overall quality of PAUD services in the region.
The Research and Development Division of SEAMEO CECCEP organized a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) for the Preparing a Study on Developing an Equitable and Inclusive ECD Budgeting Model to Promote Fair Access and Quality Services. The event took place over three days, from 28 to 30 April 2025, at Hotel Travello, Bandung.
SEAMEO CECCEP Director, Prof. Vina Adriany, M.Ed., Ph.D., attended the 2025 National Consolidation of Primary and Secondary Education organized by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen). The event aimed to strengthen coordination in preparation for the new academic year and the rollout of several new educational policies. A total of 921 participants, including education stakeholders from both central and regional levels, development partners, private sector representatives, and members of the education community, took part in the event.
The President of the SEAMEO Council, His Excellency Mr. Juan Edgardo \"Sonny\" Angara, conducted a working visit to the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, accompanied by SEAMEO Secretariat Director Datuk Dr. Habibah Abdul Rahim and Secretary-General of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (MoPSE) of Indonesia, Mrs. Suharti, M.A., Ph.D.
The SEAMEO Regional Centre for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting (CECCEP) and the Ardhya Garini Foundation have officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement to improve the quality of early childhood education (ECE) in Indonesia. The signing ceremony took place at the Ardhya Garini Foundation Headquarters in Jakarta.
SEAMEO CECCEP received a visit from the Ardhya Garini Foundation (Yasarini) led by Mrs. Lucky Tarmuji Hadi Susanto as the Central Yasarini HRD. This visit aimed to explore potential collaboration in the field of early childhood education (ECE). Yasarini is a legal social institution engaged in education, focusing on organizing formal schools from ECE to high school levels, skills training, and entrepreneurship facilitation. One of Yasarini\'s flagship programs is the Angkasa School, which is spread across various regions in Indonesia and has 93 ECE/Kindergarten level schools.
SEAMEO CECCEP held an internal capacity building training focused on quantitative, qualitative research, and RASCH modeling. The activity was held on February 13 and presented Dr. Bambang Sumintono from the Fhis training, Mr. Bambang Suminto delivered material on: Quantitative Research: Methods of collecting and analyzing numerical data, and its application in early childhood education research.
SEAMEO CECCEP successfully organized a PCP (Training of Trainers) using the GEMBIRA Module (Gerakan Membimbing Anak Bersiap Sekolah). This activity took place over two days, from February 10 to 11, 2025, at the SEAMEO CECCEP Office Auditorium room.
SEAMEO CECCEP actively participated in the 13th SEAMEO-University of Tsukuba Symposium held virtually on February 6, 2025. Through the participation of SEAMEO CECCEP Director, Prof. Vina Adriany, the organization shared its flagship programs in empowering parents.

This visit demonstrates her commitment to advancing education in West Java, particularly in the field of Early Childhood Education (ECE).
