Technical Guidance (BIMTEK) program for Early Childhood Education (PAUD) teachers in Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir (PALI)

May 6–7, 2025 — SEAMEO CECCEP successfully organized a Technical Guidance (BIMTEK) program for Early Childhood Education (PAUD) teachers in Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir (PALI) Regency, South Sumatra. The initiative aimed to enhance teacher competencies and improve the overall quality of PAUD services in the region.

The event was officially opened by the Regent of PALI, Mr. Asgianto, S.T., who voiced his strong commitment to advancing early childhood education in the area. On the same occasion, Prof. Vina Adriany, M.Ed., Ph.D., Director of SEAMEO CECCEP, delivered a warm welcome and expressed appreciation for the excellent collaboration with the local government. Also in attendance was Mr. Aria Ahmad Mangunwibawa, S.Psi., M.Si., Head of the South Sumatra BPMP, who also offered his full support for the program.

Throughout the two-day training, participants engaged in intensive sessions covering key topics such as:

  • The concept and benefits of Holistic Integrative Early Childhood Education (PAUD HI)

  • Implementation of “Anak Indonesia Hebat” daily habits

  • Teaching of religious values, character education, social-emotional skills, language, and emotional maturity

  • Use of child development modules

  • Application of positive discipline in parenting

  • Introduction and implementation of the Anaking app developed by SEAMEO CECCEP

This program is expected to strengthen teachers’ capacity to deliver holistic and high-quality education services, while fostering a child-friendly learning ecosystem that supports the comprehensive development of young children across PALI and its neighboring areas.
