The signing of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) took place on November 18, 2024, as a concrete step to support the development of educational and training modules for early childhood education (PAUD) teachers.

Bandung, September 18, 2024 – The Ibu Profesional community visited SEAMEO CECCEP's office to discuss a collaborative program to enhance early childhood education and parenting practices in Indonesia. The visit was attended by representatives from the ibu professional community and they were welcomed by the SEAMEO CECCEP team.
On August 29, 2024, a delegation from SEAMEO SEN made an official visit to the SEAMEO CECCEP office to discuss potential collaborations in inclusive education and Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE). Ende, June 27, 2024 - In an effort to enhance the capacity of teachers and educational staff in Ende Regency, the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation Agreement between SEAMEO CECCEP (Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Center for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting) and BBPMP NTT (Balai Besar Pengembangan Mutu Pendidikan Nusa Tenggara Timur) took place. SEAMEO CECCEP conducted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to develop the Holistic Integrated Early Childhood Development (HI-ECD) Policy Brief: "Access to Health Services, Welfare, Protection, and Care." This FGD event was held from Sunday, June 23 to Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Hotel deJava, Bandung. The purpose of this event was to gather input from each stakeholder in every HI-ECD service (Education, Health, Nutrition, Care, Protection, and Welfare) for the development process of the HI-ECD policy brief.

Bandar Seri Begawan, June 11, 2024 SEAMEO CECCEP (Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Center for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting) paid an official visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Brunei Darussalam on June 11. The visit aimed to inform about the Our Happy Neighbourhood (OHN) training program in collaboration with the Ministry of Education of Brunei Darussalam and the Directorate of Early Childhood Education of MoECRT.
From May 26-28, 2024, SEAMEO CECCEP organized an activity to draft a policy brief addressing Holistic Integrative Early Childhood Development (HI-ECD) with a focus on access to education and nutrition services. Purwakarta, 30 May 2024 – SEAMEO CECCEP (Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting) officially established a partnership with the Purwakarta Education Office in an effort to improve the quality of Early Childhood Care Education (ECCE). The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was carried out by Dr. H. Purwanto, S.Pd, M.Pd, Head of the Purwakarta Education Office, and Prof. Vina Adriany, Ph.D., Director of SEAMEO CECCEP. The event was also witnessed by several important officials from the Education Office, including Sadiyah, S.Pd, M.Pd, Secretary of the Education Office, Aries Rapelianto, ST, M.Pd, Junior Expert Planner, Nurdhania Rahayu, Head of the Finance Subdivision, as well as PAUD teachers and school principals throughout Purwakarta.
On Monday, May 6 2024, SEAMEO CECCEP received a visit from the University of Malaya to discuss potential collaboration. The lecturers from the University of Malaya, namely Prof. Madya Dr. Fonny Dameaty Hutagalung, Dr. Amira Najiha Yahya, and Dr. Nursyuhaidah Mohd Kadir, were warmly welcomed by the director of SEAMEO CECCEP, Prof. Vina Adriany. On April 25, 2024, the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Center for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting (SEAMEO CECCEP) conducted activities to prepare a draft policy brief aimed at providing input and policies to enhance the quality of holistic integrative early childhood development (HI-ECD). Integrative Holistic Early Childhood Development (HI-ECD) was early childhood development undertaken to meet the diverse and interrelated essential needs of children simultaneously, systematically, and in an integrated manner
SEAMEO CECCEP visited the office of the Ministry of National Development Planning of the Republic of Indonesia/National Development Planning Agency or Kementerian Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional Republik Indonesia/Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional (BAPPENAS) on April 3, 2024. The purpose of this visit was to explore the potential for collaboration in the field of early childhood education (ECD). The discussion became an important forum in providing input to the National Medium-Term Development Plan or Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Nasional (RPJMN) 2025-2029.
On April 3, 2024, Prof. Vina Adriany, Director of the SEAMEO Regional Centre for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting (SEAMEO CECCEP), along with Rizal Nugraha, Head of Advocacy and Partnership, made an important visit to the Ministry of Human Development and Culture or Kementerian Koordinator Pembangunan Manusia dan Kebudayaan (Kemenko PMK).
Universitas Sangga Buana conducted a visit to SEAMEO CECCEP on February 28, 2024. This visit was part of the university's efforts to expand its network and enhance collaboration with SEAMEO CECCEP. The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization - Centre for Early Childhood Care and Education and Parenting (SEAMEO CECCEP) organized a collaborative event aimed at introducing its flagship programs and open opportunities for collaboration with the Education Quality Assurance Centre or Balai Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan (BPMP) of South Sumatra Province. The introduction of SEAMEO CECCEP's programs took place during the "Technical Executive Unit (UPT) coordination meeting regarding the appointments of transformational teachers to become school principals or school supervisors" on February 19, 2024.

SEAMEO CECCEP collaborated with the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport (MoEYS) Cambodia, to organize a workshop on the Development of Early Childhood Education (ECCE) Curriculum to establish a bachelor's degree program in Early Childhood Education in Cambodia. The event was attended by 40 prospective lecturers from higher education institutions in Cambodia and MoEYS Cambodia, conducted through a Zoom meeting on December 12-13, 2023. The workshop aimed to initiate the establishment of a new bachelor's program in the field of Early Childhood Education and enhance the qualifications and competencies of high-quality PAUD teachers and services.
In a significant development, Prof. Mazlina, a delegate from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Malaysia, visited the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Centre for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting (SEAMEO CECCEP) on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. The Director of SEAMEO CECCEP participated in a media briefing on November 11, 2023, at the National Library. This event was part of the Policy Forum on Education (PFoE). PFoE is a platform designed by the Tanoto Foundation to encourage multiparty dialogue and collaboration in sharing ideas, experiences, and best practices. Its goal was to address challenges and formulate proposals for education policy in Indonesia. PFoE focused on five major themes: (1) Early Childhood Development and Education, (2) Basic Education, (3) Leadership/Higher Education, (4) Digital Transformation, and (5) Education Policies.

The meeting aimed to explore the potential for cooperation in efforts to improve early childhood education and community education in Indonesia. The visit was led by the Head of the Community Education Department, Dr. Yanti Shantini, M.Pd, who was accompanied by Dr. Dadang Yunus Lutfiansyah, M.Pd, Secretary of the Community Education Department, Deti Nudiati, M.Pd Lecturer in Community Education, and Hiromu Inoue, a student from Tohoku University. Their presence at SEAMEO CECCEP created a valuable moment in expanding cooperation in the field of early childhood education and community education.
Ith Vuthy, Deputy Program Director of SEAMEO CECCEP, was the guest speaker at the International Conference on Hybrids and Signing of Memorandum of Understanding 2023. The event was organized by the Asia Pacific Consortium of Researchers and Educators on 30 August 2023.
In an effort to improve the quality of early childhood care and education (ECCE) in the Southeast Asian region, the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre for Early Childhood Care, Education, and Parenting (SEAMEO CECCEP) and the Pandu Pertiwi Foundation collaborated by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) document.
On August 4, 2023, SEAMEO CECCEP conducted a virtual discussion through a Zoom meeting. A strategic discussion between SEAMEO CECCEP, Cambodia's Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MoEYS), and Phnom Penh Teacher Education College (PTEC). The meeting discussed and formulated joint education initiatives to improve the quality of early childhood education and teacher education in Cambodia.
To revolutionize Early Childhood Education and Care, SEAMEO CECCEP and SEAMEO RECSAM have joined forces. The Director of SEAMEO RECSAM, Dr. Shah Jahan bin Assanarkutty, accompanied by a team of 15 experts, visited the SEAMEO CECCEP office in Bandung, Indonesia on May 24, 2023. The visit was greeted with enthusiasm and strong support from the Director of SEAMEO CECCEP, Prof. Vina Adriana, Ph.D., and her team.
SEAMEO CECCEP consolidated collaboration with Universitas Islam International Indonesia (IIU), and the signing ceremony was done synchronously at Depok, 7 Maret 2023. This cooperation agreement will be realized through holding internships and other collaborative programs including publications and international conferences.

Prof. Vina Adriany, Director of SEAMEO CECCEP, representing SEAMEO CECCEP signed the document along with Prof. Dr. M. Solehuddin, M.Pd., MA, Rector of UPI.
Bandung 3 February 2023- SEAMEO CECCEP has again collaborated with Sangga Buana University. This collaboration is an initiative to explore the cooperation that has been done before. The purpose of signing this MoU is initiation to develop the ECCE program. In his remarks, Dr. Didin Saepudin, SE., M.Si, rector of Sangga Buana University, said that this collaboration was the first step in establishing further cooperation. He also highlighted the importance of early childhood education and parenting. He noted that early childhood education requires a lot of support, including educational facilities.
Bandung 2 February 2023- SEAMEO Regional Center for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting (CECCEP) is collaborating with the Indonesian Creative Faculty at Telkom University in a program to strengthen information about stunting. In 2022 SEAMEO CECCEP was tagged by the National Development Planning Agency (BAPPENAS) for reducing stunting. So in 2023, SEAMEO CECCEP is working hard to minimize stunting cases through a training program with the theme "Parenting program for stunting prevention (PPSP)." SEAMEO CECCEP had worked this PPSP out hand-in-hand with Telkom University in 2022.
6 January 2023- SEAMEO CECCEP received a visit from the Indonesian International Islamic University (IIIU). Prof. Nina Nurmila, Ph.D., the dean of the Faculty of Education, with eight lecturers and staff, visited the SEAMEO CECCEP Office to discuss and identify the potential for collaboration. It is hoped that later a collaboration program can be agreed upon to strengthen and ensure the achievement of the cooperation goals between SEAMEO CECCEP and the Indonesian International Islamic University.
On December 21, 2022 - Advocacy and Partnership division of SEAMEO CECCEP, conducted a collaboration evaluation with partners with a blended mode at SEAMEO CECCEP office. This FGD aims to evaluate the cooperation carried out in 2022 with partners. Hopefully, the collaboration established in the future can improve the quality of program cooperation at the next level. This cooperation stops at the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and the realization of potential programs.
