Lembang, February 6, 2025 - The Head of the West Java Quality Assurance Education Agency (BBPMP), Mrs. Komalasari, M.Pd., conducted a working visit to the West Java BBPMP Campus in Jayagiri, Lembang, today. This visit demonstrates her commitment to advancing education in West Java, particularly in the field of Early Childhood Education (ECE).
In addition to Mrs. Komalasari's visit, her time in Jayagiri became a valuable moment for parents of ECE students. Together with the Director of the SEAMEO Regional Centre for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting (CECCEP), Mrs. Vina Adriany, she engaged in direct dialogue with the parents, listening to their experiences and challenges in raising young children.
Good news was also shared. Mrs. Komalasari and Mrs. Vina announced that there would be weekly moving classes to the West Java BBPMP ECE Laboratory. Furthermore, parents will also receive parenting classes organized by the West Java BBPMP in collaboration with SEAMEO CECCEP, which will be held while they wait for their children at school. The parents were enthusiastic upon hearing this announcement.
Mrs. Komalasari also provided guidance to parents on the importance of appropriate stimulation for early childhood development. "Appropriate stimulation will optimally support a child's development," said Mrs. Komalasari. She also emphasized the importance of synergy between parents, teachers, and the community in creating a conducive environment for children's growth and development.
This working visit is expected to benefit the improvement of ECE quality in West Java. The cooperation between West Java BBPMP and SEAMEO CECCEP is expected to produce programs that have a positive impact on the development of young children.
