SEAMEO Regional Centre for Early Childhood CareEducation and Parenting (SEAMEO CECCEP) is pleased to present its first annual report for Fiscal Year 2018/2019. This annual report contains information about activities that
SEAMEO CECCEP has conducted from July 2018 – June 2019..SEAMEO CECCEP has been focusing the most on research programmes. The Centre partnered with Plan International Indonesia, UNESCO Bangkok and UNESCO Headquarter in Paris
in doing researches on early childhood and parenting education issues. In addition, SEAMEO CECCEP started conducting workshops to collect best practices of research that have been done by universities, Indonesia government institutions (Technical
Support Unit/Unit Pelaksana Teknis), and NGOs. These best practices are in the process of being made into books as a guidance for Training of Trainers (ToT) programmes. SEAMEO CECCEP is also making videos to compliment the books, which then being
combined into one package. SEAMEO CECCEP has also partnered with several universities in Indonesia, local governments and NGOs. The Centre is committed to broaden its partnership with other institutions by the end of 2019. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all stakeholders who have helped SEAMEO CECCEP realise its programmes for the past year. I hope that SEAMEO CECCEP will be able to deliver more programmes to support the development of Regional ECCE and parenting in the near future.
