SEAMEO CECCEP, in collaboration with the University of Nottingham, successfully convened the 4th International Conference on Early Childhood Care, Education, and Parenting (ICECCEP) on 25–26 July 2025 in Bandung, Indonesia. The 4th ICECCEP 2025 gathered 100+ participants from 11 countries to reaffirm the commitment to equity and quality in Early Childhood Care and Education.

SEAMEO CECCEP in collaboration with The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education Conducted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to Finalize the Roadmap on ECCE in Southeast Asia.

The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen), in collaboration with the ASEAN Secretariat and the SEAMEO Secretariat, has successfully completed the development of the Roadmap on Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) in Southeast Asia. This strategic document aims to strengthen ECCE systems across the region and ensure the provision of high-quality early childhood education—recognized as a critical foundation for sustainable human resource development.

Build Regional Knowledge
Build Research Capacity
Create knowledge and evidence through research at local, national, regional and international levels
Support evidence-based policy development

Establish a platform to build in-house research capacity, Capacity Building of Professionals & Practitioners, Individuals, Institutions, Community, Conduct/ facilitate training, seminars, workshops, conferences, internships, exchange studies, etc.

Establish partnerships to enhance research capacity, Individuals, Research Institutions Academia, Disseminate research findings: social media campaigns, dialogues, research publications etc. Advocate research findings/ evidence to drive policy formulation and program design
