Lembang, Indonesia – 15 September 2026 SEAMEO Regional Centre for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting (SEAMEO CECCEP) welcomed representatives from the Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania in Indonesia for a knowledge exchange visit focused on strengthening early childhood care and education (ECCE). The visit provided an opportunity for both parties to share experiences, discuss ECCE approaches, and explore potential areas of future collaboration in supporting children and families.

SEAMEO CECCEP and IGABA Discussed Opportunities to Strengthen the Capacity of Aisyiyah Kindergarten Teachers through Strategic Collaboration

Bandung, 26 August 2026- The SEAMEO Regional Centre for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting (SEAMEO CECCEP) had welcomed an audience visit from the Ikatan Guru Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal (IGABA) to discuss potential collaboration in human resource development, particularly in strengthening the capacity of Kindergarten Aisyiyah teachers across Indonesia. The meeting had provided a platform for both institutions to discuss various forms of collaboration, including teacher training programmes, seminars, and joint research opportunities in the field of early childhood care and education (ECCE)

SEAMEO CECCEP Director Shared Research on Young Children’s Understanding of Historical Events at International Symposium on Global South Studies

Vietnam, 24 August 2026 – The Director of SEAMEO Regional Centre for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting (SEAMEO CECCEP), Prof. Vina Adriany, M.Ed., Ph.D., was invited as a speaker at an international symposium on Global South Studies, which was held from 21–24 August 2026 in Vietnam. During the symposium, Prof. Vina Adriany presented her research on young children’s understanding of historical events. Her presentation highlighted the ways young children developed meanings and interpretations of historical narratives, as well as the importance of providing meaningful and age-appropriate approaches in early childhood education to support children’s engagement with history and social contexts.
