Bangkok, 26 November 2024 – SEAMEO CECCEP continued to enhance its role in improving education across Southeast Asia. Professor Vina Adriany, Ph.D., Director of SEAMEO CECCEP, and Iwan Aries S., Head of the Knowledge Management Division, participated in the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Capacity Program organized by the SEAMEO Secretariat in Bangkok. The program was designed to build the capacity of SEAMEO members to improve the effectiveness of their educational programs and initiatives.
The program focused on key areas such as strategic alignment of SEAMEO activities, operational excellence, stakeholder engagement, resource mobilization, and data-driven decision-making. By addressing these areas, the initiative aimed to improve the overall quality and impact of SEAMEO's programs across its member countries.
The expected outcomes of the program included improving policy development within SEAMEO's priority areas, enhancing collaboration among stakeholders to co-design and deliver programs, and strengthening the ability of non-policy actors to contribute to SEAMEO’s priorities. These outcomes were seen as crucial steps in driving sustainable development and inclusive education across the region.
