In his speech, Mr. Winsensius Tala emphasized the importance of early childhood care education (ECCE) as part of the 13-year compulsory education program. "Early childhood education is the foundation of our children's future. Therefore, strengthening ECCE is crucial," he stated.

The Training featured several speakers from SEAMEO CECCEP, including Ith Vuthy, M.A., Assila Prianggi Humaira Bain, M.Pd., M.Ed., and Dwi Anisa Faqumala, M.Pd, Heri Kosmawan., M.Pd.

Dwi Anisa explained that early childhood education is part of the microsystem and mesosystem, which requires cooperation from various parties. She reminded the audience that to raise a child, "it takes a village, even a nation." The child's right to play was also emphasized as a basic need to support their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.

Playing helped them develop creativity, hone communication skills, and understand the world around them. Additionally, play provided children with opportunities to express themselves, manage emotions, and build self-confidence. By fulfilling the right to play, we supported the child's optimal development and ensured they grew up in a healthy, happy, and balanced environment.

Assila Prianggi highlighted the importance of educational play tools in fostering children's creativity. "Play is every child's right, and educational tools help their development optimally," she stated. She also encouraged creative teachers to use the Loose Parts concept in learning, utilizing simple materials to enhance children's creativity.

SEAMEO CECCEP Deputy Director for Programs, Ith Vuthy, M.A., also explained SEAMEO's three flagship programs: access and participation of children in quality early childhood education, anti-bias education, and Holistic Integrative (HI). This activity was expected to increase the competence of ECCE teachers in East Manggarai, enabling them to provide better and more holistic education for children. It was hoped that the collaboration between SEAMEO CECCEP and the East Manggarai Education Office would continue successfully in the future
