Our Happy Neighborhood (OHN) training module means living with neighbors in an environment accommodating children’s essential needs and rights. With the spirit of early childhood education and care for all children and from all parties. OHN tries to provide an understanding of the importance of knowledge of children's rights which is the basis for establishing early childhood education free from intolerance, violence, and bullying.
In realizing the Rights of the Child, multi-sector collaboration is needed to ful?ll the children's rights. The OHN module consists of 6 themes there are:
1. Children access & Participation: Beyond Children Right Protectionist Construction: Happy Child
Training topics regarding children's provision, protection, and participation rights in the form of meeting children's active role to decide all the matters that affect their life, how teachers become promotive agents to accommodate children’s voices by recognizing their active agent.
2. Holistic Integrated ECCE: Integrated Child Right: Happy Parents
Happy Parents a training topic that targets building awareness of family and children’s rights to build their well-being. By the transformation spirit of UNCRC, which raises questions about individual and private children’s rights, this module aims to promote the integrated rights of children and the mother’s rights to exist in public space.
3. Anti-Bias Education: Rejecting Women’s Care Exploitation: Happy Teachers
Happy Teachers, a topic based on child protection rights, try to introduce the pedagogical topic of gender equality and social inclusion as an entry point to be able to create non-discriminatory schools.
4. Holistic Integrated ECCE: Child-Friendly School: Happy School
Happy School carries the topic of child-friendly schools, where teachers are given information about organizing a school environment that is safe for children with mitigation SOPs for cases of bullying and sexual violence.
5. Holistic Integrated ECCE: Integrated Child Right: Happy Community
Happy Community is a rights-based topic for welfare, protection, and child participation that all ECCE stakeholders, including the government, need to support. ECCE units are a hub for meeting various ECE stakeholders in the Early Childhood Education- Holistic Integrative (ECD-HI) framework. So that this module provides much information about ECCE management governance and technical cooperation with the community.
