Depok, Indonesia, 30 June 2026 – Prof. Vina Adriany, Ph.D., Director of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre for Early Childhood Care, Education and Parenting (SEAMEO CECCEP), together with Widodo Suhartoyo, M.Sc., Deputy Director for Program, and Suhenri, Ph.D., Deputy Director for Administration, participated in the 2026 Inter-Centre Collaboration Meeting (ICCM) of SEAMEO Centres in Indonesia, hosted by SEAMEO QITEP in Language (SEAQIL) at Wisma Makara, Universitas Indonesia, Depok.
The meeting brought together the directors and finance teams of the seven SEAMEO Centres in Indonesia: SEAMEO BIOTROP, SEAMEO CECCEP, SEAMEO QITEP in Mathematics, SEAMEO QITEP in Science, SEAMEO RECFON, SEAMEO SEAMOLEC, and SEAQIL. The forum served as a strategic platform to strengthen coordination, share best practices, and discuss institutional and policy issues aimed at enhancing the role of SEAMEO Centres in advancing education across Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
The programme included a dissemination session on the Organizational Structure and Governance (OTK) of the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education under Regulation No. 13 of 2026, followed by discussions on the draft Ministerial Regulation concerning the governance of SEAMEO Centres in Indonesia. The discussions involved representatives from the Ministry's Bureau of Organization and Human Resources, Bureau of Legal Affairs, and Bureau of Planning and International Cooperation.
SEAMEO CECCEP's participation in the ICCM reflected the Centre's commitment to strengthening institutional governance, enhancing organizational accountability, and expanding collaboration among SEAMEO Centres in support of quality, inclusive, and sustainable educational transformation.
Through the forum, the SEAMEO Centres in Indonesia reinforced their collective efforts to align strategic programmes, improve inter-centre coordination, and foster stronger collaboration in addressing emerging educational challenges at both the national and regional levels.
The meeting also reaffirmed SEAMEO CECCEP's commitment to actively engaging in collaborative initiatives across the SEAMEO network to strengthen partnerships, promote evidence-informed policymaking, and advance innovation in early childhood care, education, parenting, and human resource development throughout Southeast Asia.
