Bandung , April 1–3, 2026 — SEAMEO CECCEP held a three-day Workshop on Deep Learning Training Materials and the Our Happy Neighborhood (OHN) Module at Grand Tjokro Hotel, Bandung City, West Java. This activity supports SEAMEO CECCEP’s mandate as a center for early childhood education studies in Southeast Asia through research and development, capacity building, advocacy, and partnerships.
Various academic and practitioner partners, including BBGTK West Java, BBPMP West Java Province, TK Islam Darul Qalam, TK Rumah Bunda Ganesha, Muhammadiyah University of Sukabumi, Bina Bangsa University, IKIP Siliwangi, STAI Putra Galuh, STIT Qurrota Ayun, Muhammadiyah University Prof. Dr. Hamka, and the Indonesian International Islamic University, collaborated to conduct the workshop. In the activity report, the Head of the Capacity Building Division of SEAMEO CECCEP, Asep Subagja, stated that this workshop continues previous activities to develop Deep Learning training materials and the OHN Module. The targeted outputs include completing the training materials and assessment instruments for Deep Learning training, as well as finalizing the OHN Module, which will then move to layout design and printing.
The Deputy Director for the Program of SEAMEO CECCEP, Drs. Widodo Suhartoyo, M.Si, officially opened the event. Throughout the workshop, participants actively joined group discussions and presented their progress. Through this activity, participants aim to develop a set of adaptive, innovative, and relevant training packages and modules to improve the quality of early childhood education at both national and regional levels.
