On November 7, 2024, the SEAMEO CECCEP team
participated in The 7th International Conference of Early Childhood Education
(ICECE) 2024. This event organized by the Master's Program in Early Childhood
Education at the Faculty of Science Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia
(UPI). The event was held on the 10th floor of FIP UPI and attended by experts
and practitioners in early childhood education from various parts.
The SEAMEO CECCEP team, consisting of Irfan
Ansori, Iwan Aries Setyawan, Sitti Huzaimah, and Fatimah Rahmah, presented
their research on etnoparenting, a concept that examines parenting
practices based on cultural and traditional contexts in different regions. The
presentation gained attention for its deep exploration of how cultural contexts
influence parenting approaches and child development.
During the event, Fatimah Rahmah was awarded the
Best Presenter for her clear, in-depth, and relevant presentation on early
childhood education in the global discourse.
This participation further strengthens SEAMEO
CECCEP's role in advancing research and knowledge in early childhood education,
fostering cross-cultural dialogue, and promoting best practices that support
child development worldwide.
