Release of SEAMEO CECCEP Internship Students in 2022

6 January 2023 –SEAMEO CECCEP has held a release ceremony for internship students in 2022. A total of 15 domestic and international students participated in the student release event in a blended mode at the SEAMEO CECCEP office. They finished this internship in three months, starting October to December. Intern students come from various universities, including Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Universitas Muhammadiyah  Bandung, Indonesian Informatics and Business University, and Maharani College University, India.

In the remarks, Prof. Vina Adriany Ph.D, Director of SEAMEO CECCEP, appreciated all students who had contributed during the internship to help productivity and smooth implementation of the SEAMEO CECCEP work program. Through this internship, it is hoped that both parties will obtain many benefits.

"Through successful internships, I hope students can learn to build relationships in the world of work. Networking is a crucial capital in the world of work in the future. Through networking, we will get important information from these relationships. So, it is imperative as a student to build as wide a relationship as possible that will be useful in the future," said Vina.

Nubiyan Okta from the Indonesian University of Informatics and Business said that through her internship at SEAMEO CECCEP, He gained work experience, especially in the operational division and making standard operating procedures (SOP).

"During my internship at SEAMEO CECCEP, I also gained work experience that I had never previously had on campus. The skills that I have can also develop. I get knowledge related to the field of study or new knowledge in the world of work, "mentioned Bian.

In line with Nubian's statement, Dina, a Masters's student at the Indonesian University of Education, also gained a lot of valuable experience during her internship at SEAMEO CECCEP. She said that during his internship at SEAMEO CECCEP, She had the opportunity to participate in international meeting activities. These activities provide a lot of scientific and non-scientific insights that may not be obtainable outside.

Ultimately, the internship program is an effort to support independent campus learning. Students can gain experience, literacy skills, critical thinking, social, and communication through an internship program in government agencies. Students are confident, able to speak in public and dare to come up with new ideas.
