Follow-up Discussion on SEAMEO CPRN Summit 2026 Preparation Strengthened Collaboration Among Seven SEAMEO Centres in Indonesia

Bandung, 24 February 2026 — The Seven SEAMEO Centres in Indonesia (SCI) conducted a Follow-up Discussion on the Preparation of the SEAMEO Centres Policy Research Network (CPRN) Summit 2026 at the SEAMEO CECCEP Office in Lembang, West Bandung Regency. The meeting was part of ongoing coordination efforts among SEAMEO Centres in Indonesia to prepare for the SEAMEO CPRN Summit 2026, which is scheduled to take place on 9–11 June 2026 in Jakarta.

The follow-up discussion served as an important platform to reconfirm and deepen the event concept, discuss the involvement of each SEAMEO Centre, and align the joint work plan for the implementation of the SEAMEO CPRN Summit 2026. The meeting also addressed several technical aspects, including implementation mechanisms and institutional support required for the successful organization of the summit.

Through this discussion, the Seven SEAMEO Centres in Indonesia reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening inter-centre collaboration in promoting relevant, inclusive, and impactful research-based education policies for the Southeast Asian region. The collaboration was expected to strengthen policy networks, research collaboration, and evidence-based educational practices at the regional level.

The follow-up discussion marked a strategic step toward ensuring the successful implementation of the SEAMEO CPRN Summit 2026 while reinforcing the role of the Seven SEAMEO Centres in Indonesia as key regional partners in advancing research-based education policy development in Southeast Asia.
