Bandung, April 8, 2026 — An Information Technology Infrastructure Assessment was conducted by the Data and Information Technology Center (Pusdatin) of the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education at SEAMEO CECCEP. This activity was part of efforts to evaluate and optimize digital infrastructure and network services within the SEAMEO CECCEP working environment. The assessment was attended by representatives from Pusdatin Kemendikdasmen, Telkom, and SEAMEO CECCEP to review the IT infrastructure's readiness and future service development needs.
During the assessment, it was explained that SEAMEO CECCEP’s network services are currently supported by two internet connection lines as a redundancy system. This ensures that if one connection is disrupted, traffic can be rerouted to a backup line. The available bandwidth is centrally managed to improve network efficiency, with a maximum service disruption standard ranging from 54 minutes to 1 hour. For national-scale activities or large events requiring additional bandwidth, requests must be submitted at least one to two weeks prior to the event.
Pusdatin also introduced the MELIA (Management Layanan Dashboard) service as a digital service request platform that SEAMEO CECCEP can utilize for email infrastructure, hosting, additional bandwidth, and other technical services. It was noted that SEAMEO CECCEP needs to appoint an administrator or person in charge (PIC) for MELIA services to facilitate better service management.
In addition, the assessment identified that there are still independent network devices within SEAMEO CECCEP that are not yet fully integrated with the Ministry’s Integrated Network System (JIK). Therefore, follow-up actions will include integrating and optimizing these devices to enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and reliability of network services within SEAMEO CECCEP.
