Bangkok, 16 July 2024 – The SEAMEO Secretariat successfully hosted the third Strategic Workshop on Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) in Bangkok, aiming to bolster MEL capabilities across the organization. This workshop saw key leaders, including directors and MEL focal persons from all SEAMEO centers, gather to discuss and endorse a refined SEAMEO MEL framework. The newly endorsed framework is set to serve as a comprehensive blueprint to enhance MEL processes and tools throughout the SEAMEO network.

A notable highlight of the workshop was the active participation of SEAMEO CECCEP, represented by its director, Prof. Vina Adriany, Ph.D., and Head of Knowledge Management Division, Mr. Iwan Aries Setyawan. Their substantial contributions were instrumental in shaping the final MEL framework, which will guide SEAMEO CECCEP’s future MEL initiatives and support SEAMEO’s overarching organizational goals.

This strategic workshop marks a significant step forward in SEAMEO’s commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in monitoring, evaluation, and learning practices.
